Windows Phone 7 – complete fail or not?

No file system access:
No file system access means
a) you can not use it as USB thumb drive
b) you can not share files with different computers
c) there is no file downloads from web and no useful ftp clients and similar apps because they are useless without fsa
d) you can not open files with different apps unless maybe you email them to yourself, which is complicated but is the common way to get files on iPhones and it will also be like that crap on Windows Phone 7
No SD cards
We don’t have to explain why that sucks. Terabyte SDXC cards are on the way and Windows Phone 7 buyers are stuck with built in 8-32GB. And you have no thumb drive mode and no SD card to take out and load files on it.
No copy and paste
No, you are not dreaming to live in 2007. It really is 2010 and Windows Phone 7 really has no copy&paste. Is this ridiculous or what?

Windows Phone 7 Series will not have a file nanager

Microsoft’s Mobile Communications Business Senior Director Todd Brix has revealed to us that the company will enable a different methodology for file management on the next-generation mobile OS. Rather than have the traditional File Explorer, Microsoft will hide all the file structure from end-users, much like the iPhone, and instead will offer to organize files into relevant hubs, as one method. The company did not reveal any details in our brief conversation, but files will be automatically handled by the platform, from synchronization with the PC or cloud to arranging and managing the content and data on the device.

Windows Phone 7 Series smartphones priced higher than Android

Microsoft recently stated that it will be charging for the operating system behind Windows Phone 7 Series, which could make smartphones running the Microsoft OS priced slightly more expensive than their Android counterparts running hardware with similar specs due to the added licensing cost–Google provides Android as a free, open-source OS for manufacturers.
According to Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer:
“I think there’s something clean and simple and easy to understand about our model. We build something, we sell that thing … I think it’s not only in our best interests, but it’s a simple model that’s easy for developers, handset manufacturers, and our operator partners to deal with, to understand, and to build from.”
